(swap) What is the exchange, or rather the "swap", from one crypto-asset to another? The swap allows you to instantly switch your exposure from one crypto to another with lower fees than going through a classic sell-then-buy operation. To do so, you would need to go through digital assets whose values are pegged to those of fiat currencies, known as **stablecoins**. #### **⚠️ Warning** The institution issuing the USDT stablecoin does not comply with the European MiCA regulation. As it is non-compliant, USDT has therefore been removed from the platform. As such, we are replacing the use of the USDT stablecoin with the USDC stablecoin. *More details: Delisting USDT & other projects. Why? And what impact on your cryptos?*   #### What is USD Coin or USDC? USDC is a stablecoin offered by the company **Circle**: this means that each USDC token issued stays as close as possible to the value of one dollar (USD). 1 USDC is equal to approximately 1 USD. *To find out more about USDC, check out [this article](https://www.coinhouse.com/fr/usdc) from our academy.*   #### What are the fees on transactions involving USDC? A commission is applied on transactions between **USDC ⇔ Cryptos**. For more information, please [consult our fee schedule.](https://www.coinhouse.com/legal-documents#pricing-grid) #### How to perform a swap from BTC to ETH via USDC? Simply follow the same steps outlined above for USDT, but this time by selecting the USDC stablecoin: 1. **Exchange your BTC for USDC** by clicking the **"Exchange"** button, checking the acceptance box and clicking **"Confirm"**.
