Coinhouse respects KYC (Know Your Customer) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) policies. We do our best to ensure a reliable and transparent service to the competent authorities.
We have also implemented a two-factor authentication system (2FA) to make it almost impossible to hack your account.
Two main solutions to secure your cryptocurrencies on Coinhouse
1/ By default, the procedure that is activated on your account is the email validation.
This solution protects your account by sending a secret code to your email whenever you perform an important operation on the platform, such as adding a crypto portfolio address or adding a bank account. The code contained in the email must be entered on the platform to be able to finalise the operation.
2/ In the "My Profile" section of the platform, you can activate another procedure which is the two factor authentication (2FA):
Once activated, this solution will replace the email validation and bring even more security to your account. The principle of the 2FA is to require both your password and your phone to connect and perform transactions.
It is up to you to decide which solutions you prefer on your behalf. For additional security, however, we recommend that you enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you have more than €10,000 in your Coinhouse account.
Our service prohibits any commercial use, resale or sharing of confidential information of our customers. The data provided is stored with respect and is encrypted.
