Why is my account suspended?

If your Coinhouse account is suspended, it may be due to several reasons related to regulatory requirements or security measures.

Here are the main reasons why an account can be suspended and the steps to follow to resolve this issue:

Failure to respond to compliance department requests
  • If a compliance form was sent to you (via our partner Tomorro), make sure to fill it out completely and submit it as soon as possible.
  • If you received an email from our compliance department (Coinhouse F2CP) requesting additional information and did not respond.
  • Be sure to check all your emails, including the spam folder, to see if you have received a message from our compliance team requesting additional information or actions to be taken.
Expired identity documents

If your identity documents (ID card, passport, etc.) are not up to date or incorrect, this may result in the suspension of your account. Ensure that the information provided is accurate and current.

Failure to accept the 2024 Terms and Conditions

The updated regulations in 2024, including the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), must be signed by all users. If you have not yet signed these new regulations, your account will be suspended until you do so.

Use of fraudulent platforms

The use of fraudulent platforms, such as the dark web or sites listed on blacklists, may result in the immediate suspension of your account.

For security and compliance reasons, we must strictly adhere to these rules to continue our operations while respecting the European MiCA regulatory framework.

In conclusion, the suspension of your account may be temporary and is generally due to compliance or security reasons.

By following the steps above, you should be able to quickly resolve the issue and reactivate your account.
